My Story
Scentsy came into my life in May 2008. I was invited to my first party and fell in love with the products. I decided to host my own party. At the time I was a stay-at-home mom to my twin girls, then 2, and with another baby on the way. Up until that year I had worked full time in the business world and loved the challenges and rewards that the industry can provide. I felt like I needed to do "something". Something to stimulate that side of my brain, be around other adults, and feel like I was contributing to the family finances. I pondered the thought of getting involved with Scentsy, and after a few months of researching I decided to take the leap and join Scentsy in September of 2008. One year later I promoted to Director of an awesome team, Dare To Dream, and part of an amazing, award-winning, industry-leading company! I truly believe in the quality and affordabilty of Scentsy products, and the integrity of the company behind it all. Scentsy is based on the philosophy "give more than you take", and owners, Orville and Heidi Thompson, live this philosophy. I'm glad I took advantage of this business opportunity, stepped outside of the box, and joined Scentsy. There's so much more to it all than selling candles....Scentsy helps me build confidence that I didn't know I had, as well as help others do the same. I have met some amazing people along the way, and I am excited for my future with Scentsy. I have been rewarded in so many different ways, all while doing something I truly enjoy. I tease my husband and say that I will never have another “real” job, and if I continue down my current path, I shouldn’t have to. I will be able to be a mom involved in my children’s lives, the CEO of the household, AND a business woman – a life most only wish they could have. The wonderful thing, THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE! Scentsy can mean many different things for different people. It can be an amazing product experience, an opportunity to be your own boss, discover self-confidence you didn’t know you had, help others do the same, the ability to earn extra income for that vacation you deserve, or an avenue to use gifted marketing, financial, and business talents to earn unlimited income.
